This has been an amazing season! Walking to work today it seemed almost normal... except I was wearing a Giants hat along with my suit (I have to go to court today). But then I looked at the newspaper racks.... all empty. I took my usual walk down Montgomery and didn't find even one copy of the Examiner or Chronicle. Finally when I got to my building I spotted it. The Chronicle headline in that wonderful bold font

WIN IT!
What an amazing game. It couldn't have happened any other way. Tim Lincecum defeats Cliff Lee to win the World Series, and Brian Wilson, Mr. "Fear the Beard" himself got a save in a tortureless 1-2-3 inning.
Oh and by the way Edgar Renteria hit the game winning home run and won the World Series MVP... ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?
It feels so good, I personally had a beer with some friends in celebration at the local watering hole, The Fiddlers Green and it was just awesome on the way, everyone was honking their horns and going crazy.
I love this team. I said it during the regular season, and I'll say it again. This has been my favorite Giants team to watch, and its been an absolute joy watching them get past the Braves, the Phillies and now the Rangers. Now we can enjoy this for awhile...
